Today’s focus is on the Inland Performance Plus 2TB NVMe SSD. In the past, I’ve reviewed several Inland drives, including the TD510 Gen5 drive. As a rule, I’m consistently impressed by the value for money these Inland drives offer, VPS . The Performance Plus 2TB, our subject for today, isn’t exactly the latest model, but considering many users prefer sticking with high-performance Gen 4 drives rather than transitioning early to Gen 5, we thought it is worth examining, Colocation.

Past reviews hint that this drive was previously fitted with a 96-layer Micron TLC NAND, indicating the likelihood of at least two variations existing in the market. Alongside our NAND, there’s a DDR4 DRAM cache, dedicated hosting.

  • RAM: 2x 16GB DDR5-6000 UDIMMs

Our testing utilizes the Inland Performance Plus 2TB as the system’s boot drive, placed in the M.2_1 slot on the motherboard. Performance Plus 2TB NVMe SSD, this particular slot is capable of supporting up to PCIe Gen 5 x4. The drive is loaded to 85% of its capacity with data, after which some data is deleted, leaving approximately 60% of used space on the volume.
