ColoCrossing Announces Chicago Datacenter Expansion

    Buffalo, NY - July 5th, 2011 - ColoCrossing, a leading provider of high performance datacenter solutions, cloud hosting and infrastructure colocation continues to expand to meet rising customer demand. On the heels of an 84% growth rate for fiscal year 2010, ColoCrossing has begun an expansion at its Chicago facility which will result in doubling customer capacity. The expansion is projected to be completed in late August 2011 with the first customer move-in scheduled for September.

    Jon Biloh, ColoCrossing's Vice President of Operations, explained the strategy in simple terms, "When you select a partner like Dupont Fabros for your infrastructure and then mix that with enterprise equipment, premium networks and quality people it's easy to see what's powering our growth. Discerning customers need to know that their data is protected and that the lights are going to stay on -- we're one of only a few options in the Chicago market that really understand what it takes to deliver on that goal."

    A section of the new space will be utilized for the company's new private cloud offering. A perfect combination between performance, security and scalability, a private cloud offers a clear advantage. Discerning customers no longer need to fear the unknown which any traditional public cloud product brings.
